Black Teas
Fresh, green leaves are withered after picking, spread out on racks
to dry out, and then crushed by rollers to release the leaves' juices.
This oxidization process turns the leaves brown. The leaves are then
'fired' by hot air. Black teas are the principal teas of world
production. Our black teas are sourced from the best single tea gardens
of each region. Available as leaf tea or in tag tea bags.
